The Invisible Chains of Control
The receptivity of the great masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. Belief and fear are powerful influences on the psyche. Because hierarchical powers have exploited these human vulnerabilities, they have, unfortunately, to a large degree, shaped our world.
People are led to believe that because the world is a dangerous place, only governments and large institutions can provide protection because they are bigger and more knowledgeable than small communities or individuals. Those who believe this is true lose trust in their own capability and thus surrender thinking and decision-making to others.
Doctors are no exception to this phenomenon. Medical practitioners cede their independent thinking to texts, advisory panels, institutions, and traditions, which vary depending on the political influences of the times. They follow protocols and orders.
We are told to blindly follow leaders, organizations, and companies because they are supposedly much wiser and more intelligent than us. So-called leaders make statements and bark out orders as if they know something you don’t. Rules and restrictions are put in place by these largely unaccountable structures. People readily give up their freedoms to these institutions just to feel protected and safe.
They use fear and threats to make you comply. They rile up the public to have them help keep control over those that don’t comply with their mandates. Fear and hate are the tools of totalitarian leaders. Fear suspends rational thought and is a powerful tool to accomplish their agenda. The threat of violence and actual violence by these totalitarians keeps the fear ramped up to ensure compliance. The public must be controlled.
We live in an age of increasingly accessible information. Endless amounts of it are available at our fingertips. We are told that this information is only valid if it’s approved by the people in power. We are told any information that is not State-approved, even if it is from official data or journals or history books, is worthless disinformation or, even worse – dangerous.
The whole truth is never told. It’s spin and propaganda. These official sources won’t and can’t address real concerns and questions. Instead, they resort to the same bag of tricks. Unbelieving heretics are dispensed with by these elites and the fearful public with simple but effective childish name-calling. Adult debate and discussion are not permitted by these elites. They are only concerned with your compliance. You must obey. Resistance is futile.
Most captured by these power structures automatically defer to those on the top. Media, only concerned with access to these elites and profits, easily bend to the will of the few and magnify the control of those in power. Massive profits infiltrate and corrupt the entire system.
More and more automatically believe the media and those around them, dragging still more and more into the quicksand of belief. It’s the monkey see monkey do of human behavior.
Any failures and disasters created by the massive system are swept under the rug. Ignored. Ridiculed. Whatever is necessary to keep the belief game going. Data and history are ignored or distorted to fit a preconceived notion.
What if the hierarchy is wrong? What if their ideas are fundamentally flawed? What if the people at the top are incorrect – corrupted by narcissism, greed, and power lust. What if we realize public health has been twisted into rules, protocols, and huge profits with little real concern about actual health? What if we look behind the curtain and we find that things are not what they seem.
It can be a shock, and many cannot accept the reality of what they find. It’s too much to assume that they could be right and the system could be wrong. So they push away that information and move in lockstep with the herd.
Yet we can begin to have confidence in ourselves. To read and understand without being spoonfed a narrative by so-called experts and the media. We can read history and look at science and data. We can begin to believe in ourselves again.
We can begin to take back the power we had so freely given away. We can stop being obedient followers. We can understand that we are not weak, corrupt, worthless, and restless. We can take control of our own lives. We can be healthier, happier, and at peace. We can be free.
