Thousands are annually slaughtered in the quiet sick-room. Governments should at once either banish medical men, and proscribe [condemn] their blundering art, or they should adopt some better means to protect the lives of the people than at present prevail, when they look far less after the practice of this dangerous profession, and the murders committed in it, than after the lowest trades. — Dr. Frank, eminent European Author and Practitioner, 1800s
All true! I just met someone whose mother nearly died from weeks of digestive tract stasis leading to rapid deterioration and weight loss, diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration and sarcopenia after routine surgery due to the effects of the fluorinated anesthetic drugs. The woman had gone back to the surgeon in dire need of medical help and surgeon had shrugged her off and told her, in effect, "I did my part, so not my problem." Traditional Chinese Medicine turned her around in days. Same thing happened to me 23 years ago.
Thank you, very informative. My knowledge of IT is limited, therefore I am wary. Bearing this in mind, my concern is the medical profession relying on IT as the programmes are only as good as the input. From my understanding, medical institutions rely heavily on pharmaceutical money in the form of grants etc. As ‘Big Pharma’ has been shown to be somewhat lax with the truth, could this end up being a greater problem? Or am I just paranoid?
