"The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite."

-President Dwight D. Eisenhower's Farewell Address (1961)

I think more and more that this was probably the most important speech of the 20th century.

Thank you John, for your great comment. I must go back and reread Eisenhower’s last speech. We can take back power by using logic and basic reasoning and basic math. It is a bit frustrating to see so many people who seem to have no foundation in these basic skills and no initiative to do anything about it. That is why we need to be sharing what we know as we interact in our daily lives. To outreach with truth as we contact new people can change things much like inoculation against the pandemic of apathy and ignorance.

I had measles as a child and barely remember it as being any different than a cold. I have never heard of anyone being hospitalized or anyone losing a loved one due to measles. Looks like just another case of fear mongering for profit.

Well done, Mr. Bystrianyk. I went to the CDC's VSUS webpage, and discovered that the data sets are only available in pdf form. I would love to work with the Excel spreadsheets; I don't have time to transcribe all those numbers. Did they provide you spreadsheets or csv files, or did you do this the hard way...? :)

Hello. Years ago I spent the time to take all the data from various sources and put them in a spreadsheet. Sadly, the CDC doesn't seem to have done that or at least not publicly available. I can send you the information you want in Excel if you like. What information do you specifically want? You can email me at dissolvingillusionsbook@gmail.com and I'll send it to you. The flu spreadsheet is available at dissolvingillusions.com under the additional sources tab. I hope that helps! Have a great day!

I think measles CASES have been made rare by decades of mass vaccination (and I do not think it's a good thing), but deaths and disabilities from encephalopathy and encephalitis caused by live attenuated measles vaccines have not really diminished and might be even higher per capita than the natural measles-related cases and fatalities that were already rare after WW2 - am I correct?

I am not sure if I completely agree that cases have been made rare through vaccination, I do believe that other factors have to be taken into account post WW2. I do agree absolutely that there is a rise in brain related disorders, especially in the very young. I am very concerned in the apparent rise in meningitis in babies, as young as 6 months.
